FAQ | Terms & Policies
By purchasing a dragon from Stranger Reptiles, you agree you have read the dietary/enclosure guides and terms/policies. Not reading these do not exempt you from adhering to them. We ship two days per week weather permitting. Please text me to confirm the shipping.
Prior to purchasing a dragon, it is imperative that you carefully review our terms and policies, as well as the dietary guidelines provided on our website. By completing the purchase, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to abide by all stipulations.
POLICIES:
Our policies may change as needed, and we reserve the right to refuse sales to any party without explanation. We aim to offer precise descriptions of our animals, detailing any imperfections and genetic information. Please note that color representations may differ due to device settings, lighting, and camera quality. While our sexing is usually accurate, we cannot guarantee the sex of animals under six months of age.
We reserve the right to withhold photos of parents of sold animals, as this information is proprietary and protected under Trade Secret laws. Genetic information on parentage will be provided, excluding animals bought from third parties or wholesale lots.
LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE:
We guarantee that your dragon will arrive alive, although the exact timing of delivery may vary. We only ship to a UPS customer center for pickup. We do not ship in inclement weather conditions. In the event of a mishap during delivery, photographic evidence must be provided within 15 minutes of the delivery confirmation on the carrier’s shipping portal. Failure to do so may result in the forfeiture of any claim, as negligence may be inferred.. Failure to receive the package voids the live arrival guarantee. We are responsible for replacing or refunding the original purchase price of the animal. Shipping costs may be deducted from refunds.
SHIPPING PROCEDURE: (WE ARE CURRENTLY TAKING A BREAK FROM SHIPPING, LOCAL PICK UP ONLY AND DELIVERY WITHIN A REASONABLE DISTANCE. PLEASE EMAIL US FOR MORE INFORMATION.)
Our standard shipping days are Tuesday & Wednesday. We will coordinate with you to determine the best shipping day for your dragon. Weather conditions may necessitate delays in shipping to ensure the safety of the dragon. Please note that carriers may experience delays beyond our control.
7 DAY HEALTH GUARANTEE:
You have a 7-day window from the date of arrival to report any issues with your dragon. While such occurrences are uncommon, they can happen with live animals. During this period, strict adherence to our provided dietary and enclosure guidelines is required. Deviation from our guidance may render this guarantee null and void. We reserve the right to assess the situation and determine whether a refund is warranted. Any refund is contingent upon the safe return of the dragon to us. Refunds will not be issued for failure to follow our care instructions, attempts to remove shed skin, fearfulness of the dragon, dissatisfaction with its enclosure, unauthorized purchases, etc. In the event of an issue with your dragon within the 7 days, we require photographs and video of your enclosure set up, a detailed list of your set up and diet.
UPON ARRIVAL:
Your dragon may experience stress and fear upon arrival, having undergone multiple connections and modes of transportation. It is common for dragons to refrain from eating for several days as they adjust to their new surroundings. We recommend patience and minimal handling during the initial settling-in period. PAYMENT OPTIONS:
We accept payments via Paypal. We do not offer payment plans. If a purchase is canceled by the buyer, a store credit or partial refund may be offered, depending on the circumstances.
Please note that animals are not held without full payment.
